Aquila Fitness was started in 2008 as CrossFit East Sacramento and was the first full-scale CrossFit gym in the Sacramento area.
What is Aquila Fitness? The name “Aquila,” comes from Greek mythology. Aquila is the name of Zeus’ protective and loyal war eagle. Like the war eagle Aquila, what makes us different from other gyms is our devotion and protective practices towards our members. We are focused on perfecting movements and fine-tuning form. Promoting safe mechanics helps our members achieve the best results. Our loyalty to our members runs as deep as Aquila’s loyalty to Zeus.
